Regional competitions are generally held in Nashville or the Middle Tennessee area, while National competitions can be held anywhere. In the past few years, MACE DC has traveled to Panama City Beach, FL and to Gatlinburg.
Miss Amy's Competitive Edge Sr. Elite dance team WON the overall National Shootout Competition in 2010-2011. The same team was a finalist in a very competitive National Shootout in 2011-2012.

2012 - 2013 Miss Amy's Competitive Edge Dance Companies
Competitive Dance Teams receive an average of 4-6 hours per week of instruction, and compete at four regional events and one national competition every year. Competitive dance is an intensive sport, and the athletes work very hard to complete a minimum of three dances.
